PURPOSE: An ad hoc network configuration controlling device and a method thereof are provided to distribute traffic to an ad-hoc management server for group management/control on an ad-hoc network. CONSTITUTION: An ad-hoc group management unit(110) receives ad-hoc group information including location information of the ad-hoc node through a mobile network. A location information management unit(120) determines whether the ad-hoc node according to the received location information. The location information management unit relays ad-hoc group information to the ad-hoc node.
