PURPOSE: An artificial cochlea apparatus is provided to secure an extended sensing frequency range and reduced volume by employing a plurality of base membranes which are arranged in parallel. CONSTITUTION: An artificial cochlea apparatus comprises an upper structure(110), a lower structure(120), and a signal processing unit(130). The upper structure comprises a first substrate(111) which is made of a flat silicon wafer and a contact unit(112) which contacts a nano-wire(127) deformed. The contact unit comprises a protrusion and a coated part. The lower structure comprises a second substrate(121), a transmitting medium(122), a base membrane part(123), a base part(126), and the nano-wire.
