<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of machining a workpiece enabling an exchange life time of a tool to extend while maintaining machining quality. <P>SOLUTION: The method of machining a workpiece 1 uses the device of machining having an X-axis for moving a table, a Y-axis and Z-axis for moving the tool 14 and a controller for controlling the X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis. Here, the workpiece 1 is placed on the table, and the tool 14 is moved in the X- and Y-directions relative to the workpiece 1 to work on the workpiece, wherein a horizontal moving distance (distance A) during raising or lowering the tool is preliminarily set, and the tool 14 is continuously raised or lowered until the horizontal moving distance reaches the distance A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
