PURPOSE: A kimch storage box manufacturing method and a kimch storage box manufactured by the same are provided to obtain a beautiful appearance of a kimch storage box by forming a lacquer and charcoal coating layer on the outer surface and a lacquer coating layer on the inner surface of the kimch storage box. CONSTITUTION: A kimch storage box manufacturing method comprises the steps of: adding natural lacquer extract of 5-15 weight% to a mixture of sawdust powder of 70-90 weight% and charcoal powder of 5-15 weight%, molding the mixture to obtain a box body(10) and a lid(20), coating a lacquer and charcoal powder layer(32) comprising natural lacquer extract of 80-90 weight% and charcoal powder of 10-20 weight% on the outer surface of the box body and the lid to a uniform thickness, spraying natural lacquer one or more times on the hardened lacquer and charcoal powder layer to form a natural lacquer layer(30), and forming an inner lacquer layer(34) comprising natural lacquer extract of 80-90 weight%, charcoal powder of 7-15 weight%, garlic powder of 2-5 weight%, and turmeric of 1-3 weight% on the inner surface of the box body and the lid. |
