<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant filtering device that secures a sufficient capability of filtering a coolant containing magnetic cutting chips, and facilitates maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: The coolant filtering device includes: recessed tracks 5, 5 structured on mutually facing side faces 4, 4 of a filtering tank 1, respectively; a roller conveyer 11 equipped with scrapers 13 which circulation-travels from an upper end of an obliquely standing part 3 to the opposite side end of the filtering tank 1 through the interior of the filtering tank 1 by recessed track travelings of the rollers ; a sprocket 21 meshing with the roller conveyer 11; a driving motor 22 for driving this sprocket; a magnet 6 disposed on an outside of a predetermined part of a bottom 2 of the filtering tank 1, for attracting sludge; and a coolant suction duct 7 disposed so that its suction inlet is located to face the interior of the filtering tank 1 above the magnet.
