<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head and a liquid ejection apparatus, configured so that liquid droplets ejected from nozzle openings are made to fly straight to enhance landing accuracy of the droplets, and also, the resolution and optical density of the printed article may be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head includes: the nozzle openings 34a and 34b for ejecting the liquid; a pressure generation chamber communicating with the nozzle openings 34a and 34b; and a pressure generation means for generating the pressure change in the pressure generation chamber and ejecting the liquid droplets from the nozzle openings 34a and 34b. Two or more nozzle openings 34a and 34b are provided for a single pressure generation chamber, and the nozzle openings 34a and 34b communicating with the single pressure generation chamber are arranged, so that a distance d<SB POS="POST">1</SB>from the nozzle opening 34a to the closest wall 39a of the flow channel 39 located closest to the nozzle opening 34a is different from a distance d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>from the nozzle opening 34b to the closest wall 34b of the flow channel 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
