PROGRAM CONVERSION MODULE AND PROGRAM CONVERSION METHOD FOR MULTIAXIAL SYNCHRONOUS OPERATION MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program conversion module and a program conversion method for a multiaxial synchronous operation machine.

SOLUTION: The program conversion module for the multiaxial synchronous operation machine which converts a program between a first machine and a second machine includes: a first input unit to which processing programs and mechanism data of a plurality of sets of first machines are input; a second input unit to which mechanism data of a plurality of sets of second machines are input; a setting unit which sets at least one of the first machines as a source machine and also sets one of the second machines as a target machine; and a conversion unit which converts a processing program of the source machine into a processing program to be applied to the target machine based upon mechanism data of the source and target machines by making good use of a kinematic method. Consequently, mutual conversion of processing programs can be performed between a plurality of multiaxial synchronous operation machines of different machine types.
