<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making automatic swiveling type turret device of a machine tool capable of preventing the problem of the bite-in of chips or the like similarly to a turret non-lift system, having rigidity equal to a conventional turret lift system, and having strength endurable against a machining load even if pneumatic driving (oil pressure-less) is achieved. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic swiveling type turret device of the machine tool includes an engaging/disengaging slide locking part 4 brought into the clutch state of locking and fixing an indexing position by sliding to one side in a storage part of a turret 2, and releasing the clutch state by sliding to the opposite side. The automatic swiveling type turret device includes: a pneumatic slide driving mechanism 10 for the turret for sliding the turret 2 up to a clamp fixing position from a swiveling position by a rotational clearance regardless of the engagement/disengagement of a clutch device 3 by a clutch engaging/disengaging pneumatic slide driving mechanism 7; and a wedge mechanism 14 for fixing the turret 2 by a clamp by locking by a wedge in the clamp fixing position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
