The actuator (100) has fluid port (109) for introducing pressurized fluid into piston bore (106). A piston rod (108) is extended from actuator main portion (105) for insertion and retraction of a reciprocating piston (112) in the piston bore. A biasing device (118) is configured to move piston and piston rod towards normally retracted position. Several discharge ports (122) are formed in actuator main portion, and connected with operating side of piston bore for discharging fluid from operating side of piston bore, when piston is in fully actuated position.
