<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure monitoring system which suppresses the erroneous registration of identification information peculiar to a sensor unit, and enables the simpler entry of the identification information. <P>SOLUTION: When first and second determination conditions are established with an operation form of the system set in a registration mode, a received radio signal is determined to be a signal transmitted from a sensor unit of the vehicle. Air pressure information included in the received radio signal is registered as an initial value for tire air pressure and identification information also included in the radio signal is registered as a normal signal. The first determination condition is that air pressure information included in a radio signal from each sensor unit is determined to be a single kind of information (step S104). The second determination condition is that it is determined that the same identification information as identification information obtained by the reception of a radio signal transmitted from each sensor unit has been obtained by the re-reception of a radio signal after an interval of a given cycle (step S106). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
