<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having an array of point light sources to form a light line, with enhanced visibility and strength. <P>SOLUTION: A display device is provided with a long lower base 1 made of metal and a plurality of display units 2 which are fixed to the lower base 1. The display unit 2 has an external cover 15 made of metal and internal covers 16 and 17 each of which is made of a transparent body fitted inside of the external cover 15. A circuit board 18 mounted with light-emitting diodes 4 spaced apart from each other is arranged inside the covers 16 and 17. An upper engagement claw 21 of the external cover 15 engages with a lower engagement claw 12 so as to fix the display unit 2 to the lower base 1.
