<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front door structure of a showcase improved in an external shape of the door without impairing appearance of the showcase, so as to prevent a fingertip of a user from being accidentally caught by side edges of the front doors in opening the door. <P>SOLUTION: The front doors 2L, 2R of a showcase are provided with a hinge shaft 2d on a hinge side of a frame-shaped door sash 2c inserting and holding a transparent glass plate 2b therein, and a handle 2a on a side opposite to the hinge side, which are pivoted in a front opening portion of the showcase body 1 through the hinge shaft 2d. A front side corner part of a side edge on the hinge side of the door sash 2c is formed in an R shape, a center of a curvature of the R shape is established in an axial center of the hinge shaft 2d or in the vicinity thereof, so that fingertips and articles are prevented from being accidentally caught by reducing side protrusion and displacement of the side edge corner part in opening the door. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
