<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus 1 for measuring the sticking amount of a projection into an object surface into which the projection is stuck, such as ground. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 includes: pressing portions 2 for pressing the object surface; a load applying portion 3 for applying a load on the pressing portions 2; swinging leg portions 4 for connecting the pressing portions 2 and the load applying portion 3 parallel to be relatively displaced; projections 6 provided on the lower side of the pressing portions 2; and distance meters 5 for detecting the downward displacement of the pressing portions 2. The pair of swinging leg portions 4 provided parallel to each other, the load applying portion 3, and the pressing portion 2 form a parallelogram linkage L.
