PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an increased possibility of increasing white defect parts in a radiation image to be detected before a clear increase tendency occurs in the white defect parts in the radiation image as an adhesion member deteriorates with time.
SOLUTION: When a scintillator which has a columnar crystal structure, absorbs irradiated radiation, and emits light and a light detection part which detects the light emitted from the scintillator as a radiation image are stuck with each other via an adhesion member, a cavity generated in a close contact surface (a first close contact surface) between the scintillator and the adhesion member occurs as a white defect part on the radiation image, while a cavity generated in a close contact surface (a second close contact surface) between the light detection part and the adhesion member occurs as a black defect part on the radiation image. Because the white defect part has greater influence, the adhesion strengths of the first and second close contact surfaces are set such that the generation of cavities with the time degradation of the adhesion member progresses in the second close contact surface more than in the first close contact surface.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
