<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and a program capable of reducing procedures for returning a contract setting related to performances to a device to a non-contract state after the contract setting is temporarily changed from the non-contract state to a contract state and the device is utilized. <P>SOLUTION: A system controller 14 determines whether or not temporarily-utilization permission information is included in key information. In the case of affirmative determination, performance information and the temporarily-utilization permission information included in the key information are stored in a system setting storage part 22, an image processing output part 12 is started with a performance indicated by the performance information stored in the system setting storage part 22.
