<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-recovering coating composition and a coating film using the same having high gloss and high transparency, not generating cracks or peeling of the coating film even after long-term use, and excellent in scratch resistance such that the scratches are not likely to remain even when being scratched. <P>SOLUTION: The self-recovering coating composition contains (A) a lactone-modified acrylic resin and (B) polycarbonate diol.
