<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the acceleration or the start-up of a vehicle attributable to simultaneous depression of both an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal without installing a sensor for detecting the amount of depression operation applied to the brake pedal. <P>SOLUTION: The depression operation force applied to the brake pedal 17 is estimated on the basis of the output torque of an internal combustion engine 11 calculated by an engine ECU 31, and the acceleration of the vehicle 10 detected by an acceleration sensor 34. When the estimated depression operation force applied to the brake pedal 17 is equal to or more than a second evaluation value, and the amount of the depression operation applied to the accelerator pedal 22 detected by an accelerator sensor 33 is equal to or more than a first evaluation value, the output torque of the internal combustion engine 11 is limited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
