<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress maximum flexure stress occurring on a lock ball holder by reaction force of a spring which presses a lock ball. <P>SOLUTION: A manual transmission includes an undulate area 22 formed on one of surfaces of a lock ball rolling board 13 radially extending from a base 21 of a shift inner lever 2, the lock ball 5 pressurized against the undulate area 22 by a compressed spring 8, a lock ball guide 6 having the spring 8 and the lock ball 5 slidably incorporated, and the lock ball holder 7. The lock ball holder 7 has a pair of legs 71 made of flat boards disposed in parallel to each other and includes a lock ball mechanism 4 having the lock ball guide 6 fixed on one of the legs 71. A surface opposite to the surface of the lock ball rolling board 13 where the undulate area 22 is formed is in plane contact with the leg 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
