<p>A weft insertion device for a heavy type shuttleless ribbon loom is provided. The device includes a base (1), a reed seat (2), a connecting rod (3), a swinging arm shaft (6), a swinging arm(7) and a weft needle(8). The reed seat is fixed on the base via a reed seat foot. One end of the swinging arm is connected with the weft needle, and the other end of it is connected with the upper end of the swinging arm shaft. The weft insertion device also includes a guiding rod (4) which is fixed on the base and is parallel with the connecting rod. One end of the connecting rod is connected with the reed seat via a connecting rod seat, and the other end of it is fixedly connected with a guiding bearing seat which is provided on the guiding rod and can slide on the guiding rod. A swinging rod is provided on the lower end of the swinging arm shaft, and is connected with the guiding bearing seat via a bearing. The device transfers the power for propelling the weft needle to swing by the guiding rod fixed on the base so as to ensure a stable power transmission, and the bearing can not be damaged because of the swinging of the weft needle, which improves stability of the weft insertion.</p> |
