<p>When generating an approximate polygon model, an approximate polygon model generating unit (14) renders, in the form of a tree structure, the hierarchical relationship between an original polygon model and approximate polygon models likely to be generated and only generates polygon models having a predetermined hierarchical level or above from among the approximate polygon models associated with each node of the tree structure. As a consequence, it is possible to draw a three-dimensional virtual environment at a high speed and quality even when a large-capacity storage device is not mounted.</p> |
