SPINDLE MOTOR FOR OPTICAL DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: A spindle motor for an optical disk drive is provided to insert a shaft holder into a base plate and couple the shaft holder with the base plate, thereby facilitating the coupling work. CONSTITUTION: A coupling hole(11a) is formed on the center of a base plate(11). A lower end of a shaft holder(12) is inserted into the coupling hole. When a lower part of the shaft holder is inserted into the coupling hole, a flange unit(12a) protrudes from the circumference of the shaft holder. The lower part of the shaft holder is placed on the circumference of an upper side of the coupling hole. One-touch coupling protrusions are formed on a lower part of the flange unit so that the shaft holder is coupled with the base plate.
