PURPOSE: An apparatus for tracking a non-flexible steel belt can provide contact surfaces in both side parts of a non-flexible metal belt by arranging an elastic outer layer covering a pulley, thereby preventing unbalance of the belt. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for tracking a non-flexible steel belt comprises a cylindrical pulley and an elastic outer layer(200). The diameter at both side parts of a puller is smaller than the center part. The inner surface of the elastic outer layer covers the pulley and the outer surface contacts with the metal belt. Restoring force applied to both side parts of the elastic outer layer is smaller the restoring force applied to the center part.
