PURPOSE: A projector and a driving method thereof are provided to variously mix images displayed on first and second screens, to display an inputting device of a keyboard on the screen and to recognize a manipulation position or action of a user. CONSTITUTION: A projector comprises an optical module(101) and an optical path converter(102). The optical module respectively projects first and second image information in predetermined intervals in turn. The optical path converter is installed on a progress path of the first and second image information to be on/off. The optical path converter is off on the progress path of the first and second image information while projecting the first image information. The first image information progresses to the path where the first image information is projected from the optical module. The second image information progresses to a second path by the optical path converter.
