PURPOSE: An engine frame for a forklift is provided to improve durability through preventing impact to the upper side of the rear drive axle by using a shock absorbing unit and keep the durability of a battery through forming an extra storage space for a battery and an installation space for a forklift engine. CONSTITUTION: An engine frame for a forklift comprises a frame member(110), a shock absorbing unit(120), a storage unit(130). The front portion and rear portion of the frame member are opened and a installation space(112) is formed for installing an engine. The rear side of the frame member is coupled with a rear drive axle. The buffering unit is composed of a coupling plate(121), a cylinder, a supporting pad. The coupling pad is formed in the rear side of a frame member. The cylinder is fixed to the coupling plate and comprises an expandable cylinder shaft. The supporting pad is installed in the lower portion of the cylinder shaft and contacted to the upper side of the rear drive axle. The storage unit is composed of a first storage space, a first rotary plate(132), a second storage space, a second rotary plate. The first storage space stores a battery. The first rotary is located in the upper side of the first storage space and coupled with the frame member to be rotated. The second storage space stores tools for maintenance of a forklift. The second rotary plate is installed in the upper side of the second storage space and coupled with the frame member to be rotated.
