摘要 FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: in an energy storage device the energy is stocked by compression of a metastable degenerate electronic Fermi gas, contained in a compressed metal basic material, such as lithium, in a high pressure cell, which is exposed to magnetic field impact for further compression of the metastable degenerate electronic gas, which makes the related magnetic field grow, thus additionally compressing the metastable degenerate electronic Fermi gas, which absorbs heat. This results in drop of its temperature. The energy may be extracted from the system, making it possible for the metastable degenerate electronic Fermi gas to expand oppositely to the compressing magnetic field. Lithium is previously compressed prior to its cryogenic cooling. Cryogenic cooling of non-compressed lithium causes its transition from the condition of a volume-centred cubic crystalline structure into the condition of a crystalline structure 9R/Hex with formation of cracks caused by difference in dimensions between these two structural conditions. To avoid it, lithium is previously compressed, in order to create an allowance for a volume of a metastable electronic Fermi gas bubble, which will be formed later. ^ EFFECT: saving of funds. ^ 33 cl, 2 dwg
