PURPOSE: An image converting device and a display device using the same are provided to easily generate a multi-point image from a stereo image. CONSTITUTION: A down scaler(120) performs down-scaling of a received stereo image. A stereo matching unit(130) performs stereo matching. An up scaler(140) generates a weight window. The up scaler applies the generated weight window to a depth map. A rendering unit(150) performs depth-image based rendering in an original resolution state.
