<p>A method, an apparatus, and a terminal device for generating a soft keyboard to improve the flexibility of the terminal device are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a request for realizing a customized soft keyboard; generating an appearance configuration file of the soft keyboard according to an appearance information of the soft keyboard in the request; determining an identification code corresponding to a key function event in the request according to a stored corresponding relationship between the function event and the identification code, and generating a function information configuration file of the soft keyboard according to the determined identification code; and generating the customized soft keyboard according to the appearance configuration file and the function information configuration file.</p> |
