The objective of this invention is to avoid an extreme increase in the load on a browser when an event is generated with a client application and the necessary information is obtained from a service provision server. A proxy server program is provided between a client browser and a service provision server and, of the event display library and the information manipulation library conventionally executed on the client browser, the information manipulation library is executed on the proxy server program. Specifically, an application does not directly use the information manipulation library; instead, the information necessary for execution of the information manipulation library is consolidated in one message and transmitted to the proxy server program. The proxy server program analyzes the message, executes the information manipulation library accessing each service, and consolidates the information obtained from each service into a single message which is returned to the browser.
