The invention relates to a method for the extinction of fire by launching of fireworks containing inside fire-extinguishing material. Compared to the existing fire-fighting techniques, the method in question is of extremely low cost, it works under whatever weather conditions, it utilizes fire extinguishing material of any nature, it is environmentally friendly and it is applicable even in dense agglomerations.
