<p>In a feature value space comprising a first coordinate system which treats at least a portion of a plurality of feature values which are respectively extracted for a plurality of known specimens as a coordinate component, when projecting a plurality of representative points to prescribed axes, said representative points respectively representing a plurality of groups into which the plurality of known specimens are classified on the basis of the information of each known specimen, an ultrasound observation device computes a coordinate value of the feature value of the specimen in a second coordinate system which treats a new coordinate axis wherein the sum of the distance between adjacent representative points increases along prescribed coordinate axes of the first coordinate system as one coordinate axis, and assigns a display parameter according to the computed coordinate value.</p> |
