<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce memory capacity used in an extension process. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing device comprising an extension module configured to extend compressed data generated in a BTC format, the extension module including: (N-1) pieces of first line memories configured to store coded data included in one line of compressed data and partial data for forming property data divided into a coded data line buffer and a property data line buffer, respectively; a second line memory configured to store one line of coded data; a property data generation module configured to generate property data of a pixel block based on partial data stored in each of the partial data and property data line buffers of the line whose coded data is stored in the second line memory; a third line memory configured to store the property data generated by the property data generation module; and an extension computation module configured to generate extension data of one pixel string based on the property data and one line of coded data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
