<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cutting powder from scattering. <P>SOLUTION: A cutting tool cover includes a hollow shaft having a closed area in the middle toward one end, at least one insert attached to one end surface of the shaft, and a connection port connecting with a hollow part toward the other end from the closed area provided on a side face of the shaft. The insert is brought into contact with a workpiece while turning the shaft, whereby the cover is set on a cutting tool for use in cutting. The cutting tool cover includes a body fixed to a leading edge of the shaft and having one end surface facing a surface of the workpiece, an opening formed in an end surface of the body, and a flow path connecting from the opening to the connection port of the cutting tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
