<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent light emitting device mounted to a lower part of an outer mirror and capable of preventing the light of a light source from being radiated to the back of a vehicle over a predetermined range. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 20 mounted to a lower part of a door mirror arranged outside a cabin to visually identify the back of the vehicle includes: a lamp body 34 having an opening 35; a light source 21 arranged in the lamp body 34; and a translucent cover 40 covering the opening 35. A light emitting surface 42 of the translucent cover 40 is placed to be located more inward of a housing than a lamp design surface 43a continuous with an outside surface 15a of the housing of the door mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
