<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandwich structure capable of substantially improving compression strength of concrete without inviting the large decline of economical efficiency and improving shear capacity further. <P>SOLUTION: For the sandwich structure, concrete 19 is filled inside a space 17 surrounded by an upper steel plate 11, a lower steel plate 13, and a plurality of diaphragms 15 disposed between them. To a pair of inner surfaces facing each other of at least one of the upper steel plate 11, the lower steel plate 13 and the plurality of diaphragms 15, a shear connector 41 is joined only in a range from corner parts 21 on both sides in the diagonal direction C of a box-shaped cross section formed by them to one part. Thus, when shear force V acts on the sandwich structure 1, the local increase of the stress of the concrete 19 at the corner parts 21 is mitigated, and the compression strength of the concrete is substantially improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
