<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloroprene latex that exhibits good adhesion retention at a high temperature and good adhesive strength. <P>SOLUTION: The chloroprene latex includes a copolymer of chloroprene and 2,3-dichlorobutadiene, and the copolymer is characterized in that the amount of 2,3-dichlorobutadiene is 6-135 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. chloroprene; the gel content is 1-80 wt.%; and one or more endothermic peaks are present between 30°C and 45°C and between 50°C and 100°C in a DSC measurement curve of the copolymer.
