<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shifting device for care that can increase safety when a care receiver is seated and that makes it easier for a care giver to help a care receiver get on and off. <P>SOLUTION: The shifting device for care includes a pair of right and left support arms 3 which project horizontally from a column 4 and which are raised and lowered along the column by a lifting mechanism to support a human upper body. A support band 10 for supporting a human lower body is suspended between both support arms 3. A joint portion 9 is formed in a position halfway between the support arms 3. Either the opened or closed state of both support arms 3 can be selected by turning the joint portion 9. The turning axis of each joint portion 9 is formed to be inclined relative to each support arm 3. As the tips of both support arms 3 fall downward, both support arms 3 are closed. At both support arms 3 the support band 10 is attached at a position closer to their tips than to the joint portion 9, whereby both support arms 3 are put into a closed state in conjunction with the human body applying load to the support band 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
