<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art allowing a user to understand whether a calculated distance value is accurate or not when generating a distance image using a time-of-light flight type distance image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This distance image generating device determines, using a threshold, whether or not an imaging object is located at a position easily affected by sneak light, namely, whether or not the imaging object is located at a close distance from a distance image sensor; and when it is determined to be located at the close distance, reduces the light intensity and generates a distance image again. This distance image generating device compares the calculated distance values, determines the precision from a variation, and, when it is determined to be erroneously generated, notifies it to a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
