<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, a communication method, and a communication program that can reduce a load imposed on a server which intermediates establishment of a session when a session between communication devices is established. <P>SOLUTION: When a PC 1 works as a call originating device requesting another PC 1 to establish a session, the PC 1 transmits "INVITE" including information on a port to receive data directly from the other PC 1 to the other PC 1 via an SIP server 2 (S31, S32). A call incoming device which is a PC 1 having received the "INVITE" transmits "200 OK" including information on a port to receive data directly from the call originating device to the call originating device via the SIP server 2 (S33, S34).
