<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture in which irradiation angle of light can be changed in a wide range such as 2π steradians and 4π steradians in a solid angle and light extraction efficiency is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture 1 includes a light source 2 and a light control mirror 3 which can change the proportion of transmittance and reflectance of light. The light control mirror 3 has a spherical shape having a plurality of regions 3a in which transmittance and reflectance of light can be adjusted mutually independently. The light source 2 is arranged in the center of the light control mirror 3. A translucent member 4 having light diffusion performance is arranged in the inner side face of the light control mirror 3. The light control mirror 3 of a spherical shape is separated into a transmittance region and a reflection region, and the emission light of the light source 2 is reflected in the reflection region and the light can be extracted along the normal direction from the transmission region, and the irradiation direction of light can be changed in a wide range. Further, since the emission light of the light source 2 is diffused and transmitted by the translucent member 4 and the total reflection in the interface of the light control mirror 3 is reduced by diffusion and transmission, light extraction efficiency of light is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
