<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector having a simple structure with a small number of components, being capable of reducing a size and space, being resistant against an external load, and having a good transmission characteristic in a high frequency band at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: An electric connector 10 has: a coaxial cable 70 having an internal conductor 72 contacting with at least a partner connector, an insulation body 74 holding the internal conductor 72, and an external conductor 76 covering the insulation body 74; a body 22 having spaces 30 and 32 in which the coaxial cable 70 is put; and a coupling 24 mounted on the body 22 rotatably and having engagement means with the partner connector. In the electric connector 10, a cable hole 38 connected with the space 32 and in which the coaxial cable 70 is put is provided in the body 22, in the right angle direction to a fitting direction of the partner connector. A bent part 82 bent at a substantially right angle is provided in the coaxial cable 70.
