<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance device which encourages a driver to drive with less fuel consumption by notifying the driver of estimated fuel consumption and actually consumed fuel. <P>SOLUTION: A route guidance device 1 being one embodiment of the present invention specifies, based on information related to fuel consumption transmitted from a vehicle, actually consumed fuel in a recommended route retrieved by route retrieval processing. The route guidance device 1 also calculates fuel consumption which is estimated to be consumed when driving along the recommended route as estimated fuel consumption. Then, by performing a fuel consumption display on a display monitor 12 based on the actually consumed fuel and the estimated fuel consumption, the route guidance device 1 is capable of notifying a driver of the information related to the fuel consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
