The method involves coating a base body with light reflecting coating material (3) i.e. 2K-polyurethane mirror paint. The coating material is applied on a surface (2) of a cavity of an opened mold (1) i.e. injection molding tool. The base body is applied to the coating material. The base body is formed from injection molding material. The injection molding material is injected into the cavity of the injection molding tool. The injection molding tool is closed. The injection molding material is sprayed into the cavity of the injection molding tool. An independent claim is also included for a device for reflection of light.
