<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool which allows even a relatively small turret to mount many machining tools in comparison with a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The machine tool includes a turret 28 on which a plurality of tool attachment recesses 36 are formed circumferentially at intervals. A machining tool for machining a workpiece is attached to each of the tool attachment recesses 36 by using a clamp means. Each of the tool attachment recesses 36 is formed radially with respect to a rotation center 0 of the turret 28. An attachment width W of each of the tool attachment recesses 36 is determined with a reference axis P extended from the rotation center as a reference in such a way that one width w1 is larger than the other width w2. The machining tool is attached to a portion of the tool attachment recesses 36 that corresponds to the one width w1 while the clamp means is attached to a portion of the tool attachment recesses that corresponds to the other width w2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
