<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device which has a waterproof structure and resistance to impact. <P>SOLUTION: A display unit 12 of a portable telephone has a display housing 20 formed by insert molding a metal plate 21 in a resin part 22, a display module 32 fixed to the +Z side on the metal plate 21 and having a display screen, a front panel 30 covering the display module 32 by being attached to the display housing 20 so as to be watertight through a waterproof double sided tape 31, a circuit board 33 fixed to the -Z side on the metal plate 21, and a rear panel 35 covering the circuit board 33 by being attached to the display housing 20 so as to be watertight through a waterproof double sided tape 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
