PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent capable of imparting a high antiviral activity to a fiber or fiber product, and the fiber or the fiber product imparted with the antiviral activity.

SOLUTION: An antiviral processing agent for the fiber includes a poly-oxyethylene(dimethylimino)ethylene(dimethylimino)ethylene dichloride. It is possible to impart an excellent antiviral activity to a fiber or a fiber product by treating the fiber or the fiber product with the antiviral processing agent for the fiber and then soaping.
