<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent user interface for setting a depth of field to an electronic device allowing adjustment of the depth of field by image processing. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device changes, by image processing, the depth of field of a target input image obtained by photographing, thereby generating a target output image. From a distance map obtained by mapping the subject distance of the subject at each position on a target input image, a distance histogram 430 expressing the distribution of the subject distance is generated and displayed on a monitor. In this case, bar icons 412 and 413 movable along the distance axis 431 of the distance histogram 430 are also displayed. The positions of the bar icons 412 and 413 are changed to user's desired positions by operation of a touch panel etc., and the depth of field of the target input image is changed in accordance with the positions of the bar icons 412 and 413. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
