<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch in which a distance between contacts brought into contact with each other is secured by making a movable contact slide on a support part. <P>SOLUTION: In a switch for a power tool equipped with normal and reverse rotation change-over switch means, a rotary member rotatably positioned at a center location held between first and second stationary contact pieces, first and second bosses for engaging springs which are protrusively formed perpendicularly to the first and second stationary contact pieces in the rotary member in mutually opposite directions, first and second springs, first and second movable contact pieces having contact parts formed by engaging the tip sides of the first and second springs with crown-shaped recessed parts and extending them outward from the crown-shaped recessed parts, and first and second support contact pieces for supporting the first and second movable contact pieces so as to seesaw slide them are included, and the first and second movable contact pieces are made to abut on the first and second support contact pieces like a seesaw by energizing force of the first and second springs, and the first and second stationary contact pieces are forced into contact with the first and second movable contact pieces in accordance with the rotating direction of the rotary member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
