<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically powered riding type mower capable of holding a reaping height uniformly without depending on the undulation of a traveling surface. <P>SOLUTION: This electrically powered riding type mower includes a mower blade, a mower deck 15, a mower motor 50 loaded on the upper surface of the mower deck 15, a deck-supporting frame 37 for suspending the mower deck 15, a Gimbal mechanism 36 for mounting the mower deck 15 toward the deck-supporting frame 37 as freely swinging, a gauge wheel 23 mounted at the front part of the mower deck 15 and following the undulation of the traveling surface by making contact with ground on performing mowing work, and a plurality of energizing means 31A, 31B mounted between the mower deck 15 and deck-supporting frame 37 and energizing the mower deck 15 in a lower direction, and also includes at least one gauge wheel 23 each at the both sides of the longitudinal direction of the mower deck 15.
