<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery box mounting device for vehicles which, while making a battery box not drop out easily due to collision of vehicles and the like, satisfies both of durability enhancement and reduction of weight and cost of a battery box supporting device. <P>SOLUTION: The battery box mounting device for vehicles has a bending section 112 where horizontal cross section to which an aperture is located at outside of the vehicle width direction faces at U-shape on a web portion 41 of a side frame 4, a plurality of stays 11 arranged in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle at intervals, a pedestal section 14 fixed to lower part of a plurality of stays 11, a projection 35 intruding into the aperture 111 at a flange section 32 mounted on the pedestal section 14 to form storage aperture frame of a battery storage section, and a battery box 3 in which an engaging projection 351 engaging to an engagement hole 115 formed in the bending section 112 to be regulated to move outside of the vehicle width direction is arranged on the projection 35.
