<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, inexpensive and durable vehicle steering device. <P>SOLUTION: In a connection member 7A which connects first end parts 41, 51 of a first shaft 4 and a second shaft 5 separated in the back-and-forth directions Z1, Z2, a joint 10A connected to a tie rod 9A is arranged on a desired position between a first connection part 71 which fixes the first end part 41 of the first shaft 4 and a second connection part 72 which fixes the first end part 51 of the second shaft 5. A posture change of the tie rod 9A is set as desired and a change in radial load R is set as desired. The radial load R is received mainly by a bush 94 via the second shaft 5.
